- You will shape and execute the procurement strategy for the European Procurement Cluster across direct and indirect spend categories (approx. EUR 1.5 billion in purchasing volume), ensuring alignment with global objectives and regional priorities. In this role, you will report directly to the Global Procurement Director (CPO).
- Acting as a trusted advisor to cluster and global leadership, you provide expertise on cost optimization, risk management, and innovation opportunities.
- You lead a multicultural team of more than 50 professionals, including Operational Procurement Heads and Cluster Category Senior Managers, fostering talent development and succession planning.
- Together with your team, you build and maintain strategic partnerships with global and regional suppliers to secure innovation and long-term value creation.
- You harmonize P2P processes across 60+ European plants and implement digital tools and analytics to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
- Through proactive risk management and strict compliance with corporate policies and ESG standards, you ensure supply chain resilience and sustainability.
What makes you great
- You bring extensive leadership experience (15+ years) in multinational environments and thrive in dynamic, complex settings.
- Your academic background includes a degree in engineering, or business administration. An MBA or PhD is a strong advantage and underlines your strategic and analytical leadership profile.
- You are a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving transformation and delivering measurable business results.
- Influencing at executive level comes naturally to you, your communication and negotiation skills inspire trust and alignment across cultures and functions.

- Regular travel across Europe (40% of your working time) and occasional intercontinental travel (3-4 times per year) are a natural and motivating part of this role for you.
