• As a Global Strategic Procurement Manager, you report directly to the Head of Global Procurement Polyolefins and assist in developing and implementing a global procurement strategy for ALPLA
• Your responsibilities include controlling and optimizing the supply chain management, such as purchasing conditions, procurement processes, and logistics efficiency
• You are also responsible for building and maintaining supplier relationships and providing support to international locations
• Additionally, you observe and analyze international procurement markets and explore alternative sources of supply
• Ensuring smooth material supply, monitoring contract quantities, and determining requirements in collaboration with various locations are also part of your duties
• Lastly, you lead central price and contract negotiations

• Completed degree in the field of Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in international strategic procurement and dealing with global suppliers
• Excellent knowledge in contract negotiations, procurement strategies and processes, as well as in creating procurement analyses and concepts
• Strong teamwork, self-reliance, flexibility, dedication, and effective communication skills at all levels within the organization
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time. Proficient in written and spoken English
